As a member of the EsportsAble Academy, your child will be given access to age-appropriate esports training content, participate in weekly challenges (including multiplayer online games), and read and contribute to a moderated online discussion forum. In line with our aim to promote a safe and inclusive esport experience for all participants, we have implemented a range child safety measures, including:

  • Algorithmic detection   that identifies or blocks inappropriate content, requiring human verification before it can be posted.

  • Mandatory onboarding modules   on behaviour, wellbeing, and resilience, which must be completed before users can comment.

  • Trained and blue-card certified community moderators   who can report content and take enforcement action when necessary.

  • Anonymous reporting features   that allow participants to report inappropriate content.

  • Voluntary research conducted to gather feedback from participants and to evaluate the effectiveness of different aspects of the program.
